That’s why we’re here to share the top things we’re excited about in the coming week in each installment of “The Weekly.” Each week, we’ll rant and rave unabashedly about just a slice of the food, fun, and fantastic items that we’re currently obsessed with in downtown Providence, RI.

CICCHETTI TIME RETURNS TO OBERLIN’S PATIO
Something super fun has returned to the Oberlin patio right off Westminster Street: Cicchetti Time! On Saturdays and Sundays, mosey on over to Oberlin for raw bar items, various snacks, and drinks from 2:30-4:30 p.m. This is a great way to satisfy those cravings that come between lunch and dinner.
For snacks, Oberlin is offering their sesame focaccia, cheese plate (this is always a fun combination of cheeses), brandade, oysters, crudo, and more. We’re excited for this time to enjoy both the fresh air and some Oberlin fare in the afternoons.
WHERE TO GO FOR MOTHER’S DAY MEALS IN PROVIDENCE
This Sunday, May 11 is Mother’s Day. Whether you’re celebrating your Mom, Grandma, or another mother figure in your life, this is a great occasion to enjoy a meal together. (And for all those who find Mother’s Day to be a tough or complicated day, we are sending you all the love.)
