That’s why we’re here to share the top things we’re excited about in the coming week in each installment of “The Weekly.” Each week, we’ll rant and rave unabashedly about just a slice of the food, fun, and fantastic items that we’re currently obsessed with in downtown Providence, RI.

THE SALON THROWS ANNUAL BLOCK PARTY FOR PVDFEST
It’s PVDFest weekend, everybody! Each year, the City of Providence puts together a festival that features live music, vendors, food, drinks, and more across downtown. And this year, it all takes place Friday, Sept. 18 and Saturday, Sept. 19. As part of the festivities, we’re most excited for The Salon’s annual block party on Saturday, Sept. 19 from 2-9 p.m.
The block party will take place at 57 Eddy Street with DJs like wattzbeatz, Séga Genn, DJ Corv, and more, along with local vendors like Hungry Ghost Press. It’s all free, but attendees must be 21+! Details and full lineup here.
THE DOWNTOWN PROVIDENCE BAR TO WATCH FOOTBALL AT ALL SEASON LONG
We hear that football is back in season… And that there’s a New England Patriot’s game on Sunday, Sept. 20 at 1 p.m. So of course we want to share where we’re going to be catching all the games here in Providence!
All season, head to Rollers Sports Bar & Grill on Aborn Street (pssst where Durk’s Bar-B-Q used to be) to watch the games on their fifteen big screens. Rollers serves lunch, dinner, snacks, and drinks, so you can grab a beer or a cocktail and settle in. Follow @rollers_pvd on Instagram to stay tuned for what’s playing.
