The Weekly: 10/15/26 Guide to Downtown Providence

Here’s the gist: in Providence, there’s always something interesting going on. And we understand how challenging it can be to wade through all the happenings and decide what events to attend, where to eat, and what to shop for. That’s why we’re here to share the top things we’re excited about in the coming week in each installment of “The Weekly.” Each week, we’ll rant and rave unabashedly about just a slice of the food, fun, and fantastic items that we’re currently obsessed with in downtown Providence, RI.

FIND THESE SEASONAL BEVS NOW ON THE SHELVES AT OUR GO-TO DOWNTOWN WINE SHOP

So we’ve covered fall coffee syrups and autumnal pastry flavors in downtown Providence, but what about beers and such? Not to fear- we have many spooky pumpkin beers and hard apple ciders just waiting for you at Eno Fine Wines!

On Instagram, Eno Fine Wines recently shared a fun roundup of what can be found in their beer section this season. From Fat Orange Cat’s Cat O'Lantern Imperial Brown Ale to Hudson North’s Caramel Apple, there might be a little something for most folks on the shelves at this Westminster Street shop.

POKEMON MEETS SKATEBOARDING FOR THIS SPECIAL DROP AT CIVIL

Calling all Pokemon fans: Civil, our favorite skate shop in Rhode Island, has a special Pokemon-related drop this weekend! On Saturday, Oct. 17, Civil will have limited 30th anniversary “Blind Bags” available to customers. Each blind bag—costing $139.95—will include a Pokemon deck and each customer is limited to one deck per person.

This is a first-come, first-served situation so make sure to be there for open at 10 am! (We hear that any leftover decks will be available online at 1 pm on Saturday.)

WHAT WE’RE SIPPING THIS FALL AT THIS DOWNTOWN COCKTAIL BAR

We’re always out and about in downtown Providence, trying new menu items just to share with you! And one place we’ve really enjoyed recently is The Eddy. This romantic cocktail bar is a staple in the neighborhood, and we heard they had new drinks on the menu… So we went in last week to sample a few!

From a unique take on a martini, to the refreshing, tropical “Mambo #2,” we’re kind of obsessed and can’t stop talking about it all over our Instagram.
