Where We’re Going for Fall Treats in Providence in 2026
If you were one of our besties (which you totally are), here’s where we’d bring you in downtown Providence to taste all the flavors of fall…
It’s no secret that autumn is one of the seasons that we (Abigail, at least) are obsessed with. So once the local cafes and restaurants start filling their bakery cases and drink menus with all sorts of seasonally inspired goods, we are the first ones in line. If you’re looking for where to go and what to order this fall in Providence, we’ve got you.
LITTLE CITY COFFEE & KITCHEN
170 Mathewson St. Providence, RI
Where there are apple desserts, you will find us! And one of the destinations for all sorts of apple-flavored treats is Little City Coffee & Kitchen… We are very much enjoying the Apple Cinnamon Bun (studded with apple chunks); the Apple, Sage and Cheddar Scone; the Gruyere Morning Bun; and the Gluten-Free Pumpkin Muffin (this one has returned to the menu year after year and we are here for it). To drink, check out the Pecan Pie Latte.
ELLIE’S
250 Westminster St. Providence, RI
We just adore Ellie’s macarons and the whole Parisian-inspired vibe! And each season, they roll out delicious new treats. This fall, we’re especially enjoying the “Back to School” Macarons: Sunbutter and Jelly, Teddy Graham, and Banana Nutella. Plus the Pumpkin Cheesecake Fluff Croissant, Sweet Potato Walnut Bread, and the Pumpkin Latte are just gorgeous!
SMALL POINT CAFE
230 Westminster St. Providence, RI
Small Point Cafe is such a classic coffee spot in downtown Providence and we always love seeing what delicious treats they add to the menu each fall. This time around, we’re sipping the Maple Sage Latte (hot with whole milk this time around) and enjoying the Pumpkin Bread and Cardamom Cookies. Stop by and get cozy!
BOLT COFFEE CO
61 Washington St. Providence, RI
We’re all in on the drinks at Bolt Coffee Co! (We’re partial to their Washington St. location.) There is a little something for everyone on the menu at this stylish downtown Providence cafe… If you’re looking for something new, try the Chaider, a sweet combination of warm apple cider and a little bit of Chai foaming on top. If you want to go classic, their Pumpkin Spice Latte is lovely! Or avoiding caffeine? The cider is also a delicious option.
