THROUGH 8/30: BOLT COFFEE DONATES PORTION OF THIS DRINK’S PROCEEDS TO NONPROFIT

We love coffee and love a little treat and love a good cause! So of course we’re all for Bolt Coffee’s recent endeavor to donate a portion of the proceeds from every order of an “Americola” to Zero Food Print! Order this drink now through Sunday, Aug. 30.

From Bolt: “$1 from every drink sold will be donated directly to Zero Foodprint & distributed to farms in our beautiful ocean state to aid in implementing practices focused on regenerative agriculture and sustainability. Zero Fooprint is a James Beard award-winning 501(c)3 org who has been awarding farmers with funds since 2019 (over 10 million dollars to date)!”

DOWNTOWN SHOP NOW ACCEPTING NEW ARTIST APPLICATIONS

There are so many cool independent shops on Westminster Street in downtown Providence! And one unique one is Craftland. This is where locals and Rhode Island visitors alike can find fun Rhody merch and handmade gifts. We’ve bought ornaments, pottery, jewelry, cards, and more. And they’ve opened applications for artists to sell their wares in-store!

If you’re a local maker, crafter, or artist interested in selling your work at Craftland, apply online by Tuesday, Sept. 15. From Craftland: “Craftland selects original artwork, prints, and handcrafted wares by independent artists & makers to sell in its Downtown Providence shop through a juried application process.”
