CICCHETTI PATIO SEASON RETURNS TO OBERLIN
We love a little outdoor dining in Providence… And no one does it quite like Oberlin. That’s why we’re so excited they’ve kicked off patio season with “Cicchetti”! From Thursday through Monday, head to 266 Westminster Street from 3-5 pm for snacks, cocktails, and more during Cicchetti hours.
Cicchetti is a great way to grab a casual snack or end the work day on a high note. They’re serving up crudo, country sourdough, olives, arancini, to name a few dishes. And the patio is right next to Grant’s Block Park and has a rooftop to keep the fun going rain or shine.
Plus we hear they have special plans to celebrate patio season with a little help from Aperol on Sunday, May 17. Enjoy drink specials, giveaways, food, and more.
ICYMI: A NEW SPORTS BAR IS OPENING IN DOWNTOWN PROVIDENCE SOON
In case you missed it, we dropped some great news last week (psst and we even went on NBC 10 to talk about it.) The team behind Pizza Marvin and Club Frills are cooking up something fun in downtown Providence this summer: Rollers Sports Bar and Grill is coming soon!
In June 2026, this bar and restaurant will join the downtown neighborhood at 33 Aborn Street. Rollers is a vibrant, modern sports bar offering a fresh and unique approach to classic bar food and drinks.
COUNTING DOWN: MOVIES ON THE BLOCK KICKS OFF WITH THE NEVERENDING STORY
The countdown has officially started: we’re now less than a month away from InDowncity’s free outdoor film series, Movies on the Block! We’re kicking off our Summer 2026 season with The NeverEnding Story on Thursday, June 11 at dusk. Grab your soccer chairs or beach blankets, head to Grant’s Block Park in downtown Providence, and join us on a magical journey to the land of Fantasia.
Plus, there’s something new this year! Not only will Oberlin be selling delicious food to-go right at the park, but they’ll also have an onsite bar this year too.
