4/25: OUR FAVORITE SHOP TO SPEND INDIE BOOKSTORE DAY AT DOWNTOWN
Once a year, Independent Bookstore Day rolls around and provides a wonderful excuse to grab your tote bag, lace up your shoes, and head to your closest local bookshop. This year it falls on Saturday, April 25. If you want to spend Indie Bookstore Day shopping locally, we cannot recommend our favorite downtown Providence bookshop Symposium Books more highly!
Support local and celebrate all things bookish on the 25th at Symposium Books on Westminster Street. Symposium is all stocked up on exclusive indie bookstore tote bags, signed editions of new releases, an in-store gift card scavenger hunt, a raffle full of bookish goodies, local visiting authors, an open mic, and more all-day fun! Plus, we have a special treat for our Instagram followers taking place through Saturday, April 25.
GIFT IDEAS FOR MOTHER’S DAY 2026 FROM PROVIDENCE SMALL BUSINESSES
Mother’s Day arrives on Sunday, May 10! If you’re unsure what to buy as a fun gift for the mother figure in your life, we have plenty of ideas.
