MARUICHI CELEBRATES TWO YEARS IN PROVIDENCE THIS WEEKEND

In the spring of 2024, Maruichi opened a new grocery store location in downtown Providence. We cannot believe it’s now been two years of shopping for Japanese snacks, drinks, lunches (love their Chirashi bowls), and more on Washington Street! In celebration, enjoy special deals and programming at Maruichi Providence from April 16-19.

Each day, stop by the store to spin the prize wheel (with purchases), watch demonstrations from representatives of brands such as Calbee and Imuraya Daifuku, and order limited drink specials at their in-store cafe.

FREE WINE TASTINGS AT THIS DOWNTOWN PROVIDENCE WINE STORE

If you are ever unsure about what to buy when you’re at a wine store, a tasting can be a fun, low stakes way to discover beverages you enjoy! And you’re in luck- Eno Fine Wines has two tastings on the schedule this week. Each tasting is free and takes place in-store, so you can sip and browse at the same time.

On Friday, April 17 from 4-7 pm, enjoy the sweet taste of High Limb Cider. On Saturday, April 18 from 4-7 pm try a pour or two from Red Eyed Spirits. (This distillery is local, hailing from Pawtucket, RI.) And if you cannot make it, stop by another day and consult the knowledgable Eno staff for your next beverage recommendation.
