And we understand how challenging it can be to wade through all the happenings and decide what events to attend, where to eat, and what to shop for. That’s why we’re here to share the top things we’re excited about in the coming week in each installment of “The Weekly.” Each week, we’ll rant and rave unabashedly about just a slice of the food, fun, and fantastic items that we’re currently obsessed with in downtown Providence, RI.

TICKETS STILL AVAILABLE: THE ALCHEMY OF MUSHROOMS SUPPER CLUB
Looking for a delicious and unique dining experience? Good news- there’s still tickets available for Amaryllis’s March supper club on Wednesday, March 25 at 6 pm. This dinner is all about the “Alchemy of Mushrooms” and will include Tempura Miatake with Mushroom Aioli, Hungarian Mushroom Soup, Shiitake Miso Cookies with Tahini Cream, and so much more. Grab tickets as soon as possible for $100 per person right here.
Amaryllis is a restaurant located on Westminster Street in downtown Providence, with a focus on fresh, farm-to-table ingredients. This supper club is a rooftop event and will also feature wine pairings from neighbor Eno Fine Wines.
CHECK OUT WEEKLY TRIVIA AT THE MALTED BARLEY
If you want to kick your work week off with a great start, might we recommend popping into The Malted Barley in downtown Providence for their weekly trivia on Monday nights? At 7 pm, form your team with a few friends, grab seats, and order a few beers and some pretzels as the competition begins. This is a great opportunity to test your knowledge over the course of a few rounds! The Malted Barley also hosts trivia on Wednesdays at 8 pm, too.
PLUS, MARK YOUR CALENDARS: Lil Rhody Laugh Riot is coming soon to The Malted Barley! They’ll host two special Comedy Trivia days on Saturday, March 28 and Sunday, March 29 from 1-3 pm. Each day will feature all things comedy trivia with stand-up performances between rounds.
EASTER HAS ARRIVED AT THIS DOWNTOWN PROVIDENCE SHOP
With spring arriving this week in Providence, of course we’re excited to see Easter items starting to show up on shelves! Homestyle, a shop on Westminster Street that stocks a colorful array of home decor and gifts, always has a fun variety of seasonal items and this time of year is no different.
So far, we are very excited to see so many cuddly plush bunnies for all ages, from this Jellycat Bunny Egg to this bright Pink Blossom Bunny. Plus how sweet is this Bunny Music Box? Keep an eye out for more Easter and spring-themed goodies at Homestyle!
