OBERLIN CELEBRATES TEN YEARS WITH THROWBACK MENU ITEMS
Somehow it’s been ten whole years since Oberlin, a beloved and 2026 James Beard Foundation nominee, opened! In honor of their anniversary, this Providence restaurant is bringing back many fan favorite menu items from Thursday, Jan. 22 through Monday, Jan. 26.
And as a way to give back, all proceeds from those dishes will be donated to Farm Fresh RI. Make sure to snag a reservation at Oberlin right here ASAP!
PROVIDENCE RESTAURANT WEEKS KICKS OFF AND HERE’S WHERE WE’RE EATING
It’s that time of year again! Providence Restaurant Weeks is here from Sunday, Jan. 25 through Saturday, Feb. 7. This is when dozens of restaurants across the city offer special deals and menus. Make sure to snag those reservations before they fill up!
Here’s three spots we’ll be heading to in downtown Providence:
- Gracie’s:For the entire month of January, Gracie’s is offering their exquisite 5-course Chef’s Tasting Menu for just $98. Enjoy specially selected salads, entrees, desserts, and more during this dining experience.
- Gift Horse: This raw bar spot will offer a three course meal for $50. Enjoy a selection of crudo! Skate Wings! Roll Cake! And more!
- Oberlin: Love hand crafted pasta? Oberlin has so much to offer for Providence Restaurant Weeks. Choose from a special menu—full of pastas, fish, desserts, and more—for a three course meal for $55.
GIFT HORSE HOSTS WINE TASTING THIS SUNDAY
We love a cozy wine tasting- especially when we’re all looking for something fun to do this winter in Providence! Head to Gift Horse on Westminster Street for a wine tasting with NOK Vino on Sunday, Jan. 25 from 3-5 pm. Winemakers Nico Kimberly and Ryan Williams will guide guests through a variety of wines produced in New Hampshire “through hands on farming and considered stewardship.”
Grab tickets right here and learn about wine growing, wine making, pairings, and more. Tickets will cover lights snacks, some raw bar items, and four wines.
