4 DOWNTOWN SPOTS WITH PROVIDENCE RESTAURANT WEEKS DEALS

Each year, restaurants in Rhode Island participate in Providence Restaurant Weeks spanning July 6-19. This is an excellent time to visit new spots or cherished favorites at a discount. This year, four of InDowncity’s go-to spots have deals for the Restaurant Weeks.

At Gracie’s on Washington Street, try their new three-course “Signature Menu” for $60 per person (this includes a lineup of some of Gracie’s most popular menu items). Make a reservation here.

Craving classic Italian dishes? Rosalina on Aborn Street is offering a three-course prix fixe menu for $39.95 per person. It includes options of eggplant parmesan, tagliatelle bolognese, pork chop, and more. View the menu here.

And if you’ve ever wanted to dine at a James Beard nominated or James Beard award winning restaurant, both Oberlin and Gift Horse are offering three-course prix fixe menus (details tbd). Reserve your spot at Oberlin here, and Gift Horse here.

JEPHRY FLORAL STUDIO RELOCATION TO DOWNTOWN ANNOUNCED

We’re always thrilled to hear about a new business opening in our downtown Providence, RI neighborhood! So how about the relocation and reopening of a well-known PVD business? We just broke the news yesterday (June 9) that Jephry Floral Studio will soon relocate and reopen in downtown Providence.

In a move from their previous location in the West End neighborhood of Providence, Jephry Floral Studio will relocate to 326 Westminster Street in the historic Kinsley Building in downtown Providence during Summer 2025. The floral studio is known and loved in our community and has been in business for over 26 years.

SAVE THE DATE: TWO WEEKS UNTIL MOVIES ON THE BLOCK “MERMAIDS”

We had such a fun time when we kicked off the return of Movies on the Block a few weeks ago! Thank you to everyone who came out to our first free outdoor film screening of the summer. Here on out, join us at Grant’s Block Park in downtown Providence, RI one Thursday a month from June to September. The next screening is Thursday, July 24, 2025 with the film “Mermaids.”

This classic 90’s film—featuring Cher and Winona Ryder—will show between sunset and dusk. Seating at Movies on the Block is not provided so bring a beach chair or picnic blanket and show up early to save your spot! Bring a picnic dinner or purchase food to-go from the surrounding small businesses. P.s. Please leave the pets at home!
