The PVD Downcity Holiday Market
The Providence Tourism Council and InDowncity are thrilled for the return of the PVD Downcity Holiday Market at Grant’s Block Park, located at the corner of Union and Westminster streets in downtown Providence.
This holiday season, from Thursday, December 4th, through Sunday, December 7th, Grant's Block Park and adjacent Westminster Street will transform into an enchanting outdoor marketplace for visitors and residents alike to meet, shop, drink, eat, and support local businesses. The Market will showcase a unique rotation of high-quality local and regional makers, artists, farmers, food vendors, entertainers, and more. Each Market date will present its own curated experience for guests to enjoy.
MARKET DAYS + HOURS
Thursday, December 4th: 5 - 9 p.m.
Friday, December 5th: 5 - 9 p.m.
Saturday, December 6th: 12 p.m. - 8 p.m. (street vending from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m)
Sunday, December 7: 12 p.m. - 5 p.m.
LOCATION
The Market will take place at Grant’s Block Park at the corner of Westminster and Union Streets in downtown Providence. Similar to last season, the park will host a tented and heated lodge for guests to gather, watch live performances, enjoy seasonal cocktails, and rest their feet.
On Saturday, December 6, the footprint of the Market will expand with the closure of the adjacent Westminster Street, transforming into a full-fledged holiday shopping market with vendors lining Westminster Street from Eddy to Mathewson streets.
