What you need to know about the 2025 Downtown PVD Holiday Market

The Market takes place on 4 consecutive days, Thursday, December 4th through Sunday, December 7th. Each day has unique hours with a rotating lineup of vendors.
Thursday and Friday kick off the event with night markets at Grant’s Block from 5 pm to 9 pm.
Saturday is a full-day-long market from 12 pm through 8 pm, on Westminster Street and in Grant’s Block Park, featuring the largest artisan marketplace (20+ maker and artist vendors) with both a daytime market and a night market.
Sunday closes out the PVD Downcity Holiday Market with a daytime market from 12 pm to 5 pm at Grant’s Block Park.
2025 Market Hours:
Thursday, December 4th: 5 - 9 p.m.
Friday, December 5th: 5 - 9 p.m.
Saturday, December 6th: 12 p.m. - 8 p.m. (street vending from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m)
Sunday, December 7: 12 p.m. - 5 p.m.

The Market is in Downtown Providence and will take place at Grant’s Block Park at the corner of Westminster and Union Streets.
(Simply put 260 Westminster Street, Providence, RI into your GPS for directions).
The Saturday Market on December 6th will feature a marketplace on Westminster Street, next to Grant’s Block Park, with 20+ artisans, food trucks, and more lining the street.

No, each day of the Market will feature a rotating lineup of artisan marketplace vendors, food trucks, entertainment, workshops, and more. (Some vendors may vend for multiple days.) Visits on multiple days will offer a variety of new experiences. See each day’s schedule.
The largest Market will be on Saturday, December 6, when the Market footprint will extend onto Westminster Street and Union Street to accommodate 20+ tented makers and artists, food trucks, and more.

Yes! The Market is free and open to the public on all days.
Please note, while general admission to the majority of the activities requires no fees, a selection of the workshops held in the Lodge require tickets. Please consult the Market Schedule to see which programming is ticketed and plan accordingly.

Downtown Providence has a variety of parking options, from hourly street parking (complimentary for up to 2 hours during the holiday season) to paid private parking lots. The closest lot to the Market is located at 191 Weybosset Street, but there are many options available within a 5-minute walk.
The PVD Downcity Holiday Market is also easily accessible via the Rhode Island Public Transit Authority (RIPTA) buses.

Yes! The Market is family-friendly and will include a variety of family-friendly entertainment, workshops, and dining options for folks of all ages to enjoy. Bring the whole family!

Yes! Each Market day will feature visiting food vendors on the streets closest to Grant’s Block Park. Guests can enjoy bakery vendors as part of the Artisan Marketplace; hot beverages and cocktails available for sale in the Market Lodge from the Eddy Bar; and various brick and mortar restaurants open for breakfast, lunch, and/or dinner surrounding the event food print. Yes, portajons will be available for use at Grant’s Block Park during the event hours.

Yes and yes. While the Markets are all outdoors, there will be a large heated Market Lodge at Grant’s Block Park that will be open to the public during all event hours. Inside the Lodge, guests can enjoy hot beverages for all ages, cocktails, marketplace vendors, live music, and more.

No, there are no rain dates for the Markets. However, we hope for clear, sunny skies over the course of December 4-7!
