3 IDEAS FOR WHERE TO ORDER TAKEOUT FOR THE BIG GAME
Happy February, everyone! This weekend on Sunday, February 8, the Patriots will face the Seahawks and we’re hungry for the competition! And also hungry for all the snacks we plan to devour during the big game. If you’re looking to order takeout on a local level, here’s a few ideas for where to order in downtown Providence:
Oberlin: They’re selling delicious Take and Bake Lasagnas—plus Kohlrabi Caesar, Pizza Strips, Basque Cheesecake, and more—in honor of the big game. Get your orders in right here by Thursday, Feb. 5!
Suya Joint: We are big fans of Suya Joint and their West African cuisine. Some go-to dishes for us: the Suya Wings, Fried Plantains, and Jollof Rice. Check out their catering options and get in an order ASAP!

Looking for a way to celebrate your most cherished platonic friendships? Downtown Providence boutique Queen of Hearts and Modern Love has something delightful planned: On Saturday, Feb. 12 at 7 pm, join Salt Blossom for a hands-on floral workshop with treats from Sweet Curiosity and opportunities to shop from Juliana Conti Designs.

Who doesn’t love a night out with loved ones, with good wine and candles burning? If you’re looking for ideas for romantic restaurants in downtown Providence, RI, here’s our recommendations!
Figidini: Neapolitan pizza and all the wood fired sides at an intimate spot on Washington Street.
Gracies: We love a five course tasting menu (or just even grabbing drinks and dessert at the bar) at this fine dining restaurant!
Cielito Mexican Kitchen: An authentic Mexican restaurant that specializes in Michoacán fare (the Tuna Tostada is one of our favorite dishes right now).
Oberlin: Oberlin is always a winning destination! Hand made pastas, local meat, fresh seafood…
Sura: Splitting a colorful variety of sushi rolls at Sura is always a good date idea, in our opinion.

SPEED DATING AND GALENTINE’S DAY EVENTS AT SMALL POINT CAFE
Small Point Cafe on Westminster Street has quite a few events on the calendar next week! If you’re looking for a platonic or romantic connection, they’re hosting “Scared of Love Speed Dating” on Friday, Feb. 13; doors open at 6 pm and the event kicks off at 6:30 pm.
