GRACIE’S INTRODUCES NEW 3-COURSE DINNER OPTION
We absolutely adore a 5-7 course chef’s tasting menu dinner at Gracie’s! We also love a casual visit with cocktails and some light bites—ordered a la carte—at the bar. But did you know that this fine dining establishment in downtown Providence, RI, now has an option that’s right in between?
We’re here to introduce Gracie’s new “Signature Menu” option! This experience includes a 3-course prix fixe style menu for $60—and wine pairings for each course for an added $30—available each day for reservations made for between 5-6 p.m.
This is a great way to be able to choose from a curated menu that includes only the most beloved menu items for a more approachable experience and price. Between the InDowncity team, we enjoyed Sherry Roasted Beets, Russet Potato Gnocchi, Culver Farms Duck, Maryland Striped Bass, Carrot Tiramisu, Creme Brûlée, and exquisite wines. When making a reservation right here, make sure to select the “Signature Menu” reservation option!
CONGRESS FOR NEW URBANISM HOSTS OPEN HOUSE IN DOWNTOWN PROVIDENCE
Today, our downtown Providence neighborhood is a thriving hub of independent shops, stellar restaurants, and a flurry of community events. But how did Westminster and the surrounding streets become this way? Find out at the 33rd Congress for New Urbanism (CNU)! It’s taking place in Providence in June 2025.
And while general registration for this convention is no longer available, CNU is hosting a free Open House event that is open to the general public on Wednesday, June 11 at the Rhode Island Convention Center.
This is an opportunity to learn about topics such as “the impact and influence of New Urbanism in the city of Providence over the past four decades,” along with regional walkability, historic preservation, and more. Make sure to check out the full schedule and register for free right here.
TICKETS NOW AVAILABLE FOR A JUNE MIDSOMMAR SUPPER CLUB AT AMARYLLIS
Breaking bread together—at least, metaphorically, since the menu may differ—can be such a fun experience! So why not check out downtown restaurant Amaryllis’s upcoming Scandanavian themed celebration: the Midsommar Supper Club! (We’re pretty sure Florence Pugh will not be making an appearance, so put your fears away.)
The Midsommar Supper Club will take place on Tuesday, June 17 at 6 p.m. at Amaryllis at 225a Westminster Street.
Tickets are $75 each and include four delicious courses (Pickled Herring! Hargon Lamb Pie! Foraged Green Goddess Salad!), along with complimentary wine and Aquavit. Tickets can be purchased via direct message on Instagram @amaryllisri.
